Privacy policy
This policy covers miahealth.co.uk, the marketing website for the MIA platform. It does not cover the MIA product itself, which has its own data processing agreements with customer organisations.
Who we are
MIA Health is the data controller for information collected through this website. You can reach us about anything in this policy through the contact page.
What we collect and why
The only personal data this website collects is what you choose to send us through the contact form: your name, work email address, and optionally your organisation, role, phone number and message. We use it solely to respond to your enquiry. We record the page you arrived from and basic campaign parameters so we know how people find us. Please do not include patient information or any clinical detail in the form; the form reminds you of this too.
Where it lives and for how long
Enquiries are stored with our infrastructure provider, Cloudflare, and are only accessible to named MIA Health staff behind authenticated access. We keep enquiries for up to 24 months from last contact, then delete them.
Analytics without tracking
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. We count page views with two services, PostHog and Cloudflare Web Analytics, both configured cookielessly: each view is recorded anonymously with the page, the referring site and an approximate location derived from your connection, with no identifier linking one visit to the next. Cloudflare Web Analytics also records how quickly pages loaded, and does not fingerprint your device. PostHog respects Do Not Track; Cloudflare Web Analytics runs at the network level and does not act on it. PostHog Inc. and Cloudflare, Inc. process these counts for us under data processing agreements with UK GDPR safeguards; we see aggregate figures only. Full detail is in the cookie statement.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it or delete it, and object to our processing of it. Contact us and we will act on it promptly. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
